Petro L. is a gloomy and disillusioned man.
He travels through the night observing surreal situations and characters that bring him to a confrontation with the significance of life and the importance of choosing.

"PetroL." is as picturesque as it is cruel (yet believable) in its portrayal of the world through the eyes of a disillusioned and apathetic man. The film ambitiously aims to transcend conventional narrative structures in favor of a more aesthetic and challenging approach. Always teetering between reality and the imagined, "PetroL." successfully explores a state of mind, an underlying unease, reaching the viewer through deliberate cinematic techniques. Watching the film, one feels immersed in the protagonist's whirlwind of thoughts, with the visuals accompanied by voiceovers or evocative music. These encounters serve as windows to the world, reflecting the author's engagement with the complex, often disappointing, yet potentially salvageable contemporary landscape.

DIRECTOR
Born in Friuli Venezia Giulia, she attended the DAMS - Disciplines of Audiovisual, Media, and Performing Arts in Gorizia, and currently studies Directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
After completing DAMS, she enrolled in the Griffith Film School and simultaneously enriched her film studies with two high-level masterclasses:

She worked as an assistant director for Wildside s.r.l. on the Sky TV series "Il Re" and "Il Re2"; for Publispei s.r.l. (Carlo Carlei's "Fiori Sopra l'Inferno") and Mompracem (short film "Welcome to Paradise" by Leonardo di Costanzo). She served as a production assistant for Videomante s.r.l. on projects like Igor Bezinović's "Fiume o morte" and Peter Kerekes' "Wishing on a Star."
Balancing her studies and in-depth masterclasses, she focuses on a hands-on approach to cinema, writing scripts, directing independent short films, and working as an assistant director. After writing and directing her debut short film "PetroL.," she is currently developing a docu-film project titled "InDolce Attesa," which explores the only funeral agency in Italy founded and composed exclusively of women.
