A Chinese restaurant in a small Italian province becomes the scene of conflict between the Chinese owners and their customers, a family who have emigrated from southern Italy. A story of immigration, stereotypes and mistrust that leads to a grotesque climax. In the surreal and comical finale, the children try to put the two similar and dysfunctional families back together.

DIRECTOR
Silvia Clo Di Gregorio was born in Verbania. In her teens, she developed a passion for analogue photography, exhibiting in shows around Italy. After graduating in Performing Arts and Sciences at La Sapienza University, she gained experience at Pesaro Film Fest and Fiuggi Film Fest. She continued her studies in Berlin, at the Summer School in Filmmaking at Btk University. In Milan, she completed her studies with a Master's degree in Advanced Cinematography at Nativa Centro Arti Visive.
She is a cinematographer and director, shooting more than 20 successful video clips, in contemporary art and advertising. Her stories focus on female and queer representation, with a strong style and high image quality.
In June 2022, he shot his short film Pollo all'Ananas '98 with Cattive Produzioni and Spicy Storm Production, financed by the Torino Piemonte Film Commission and the Italian Ministry of Culture, to be released in 2023. A story of immigration, stereotypes and distrust that leads to a grotesque climax. In the same year, she worked as an author and screenwriter conceiving together with Bekka Gunther and Denise Santoro, Love Club, a new LGBTQIA+ themed TV series produced by Tempesta Film.
